All of these carving have been chose for their detail and polish. The workmanship is very nice. There is a shot history of some of the carvers.
These two horse heads were carved from a piece of chrysophrase from Australia. AP is the carver that skillfully crafted this piece. He has been carving stone since 1991 and specializes in alligators, crocodiles and horses. Before he started carving he was a stone polisher. This carving is 14cm x 12.5cm including the beautiful black onyx base.

The rough Mookaite that was used to make this carving was found in Australia. It was hand carved by a master craftsman in China with the initials EQ. EQ is a former student that started carving in 2002. He specializes in Buddha and Quan Yin. This unique carving measures 12.5cm x 9cm.

Mookaite Quan Yin
The rough Mookaite that was used to make this carving was found in Australia. It was hand carved by a master craftsman in China with the initials DV. DV is a former student that started carving in 2002. He specializes in Buddha and Quan Yin. This beautiful carving measures 11.5cm x 7.5cm.

Natures Paintbrush Dolphins
The rough for this large carving was found in China. It is called Natures Paintbrush and is a mix of calcite and quartz. It was hand carved by a very talented craftsman in China with the initials BQ. BQ was a salesman before he started carving stone in 2001. With over 10 years of experience he has specialized in ocean animals.His talent carving sea animals is obvious in these wonderful dolphins. This carving is 25.5cm x 15cm. It is mounted on a black onyx base.

Olive Serpentine Lizards
The rough for this large carving was found in China. It is an olive serpentine. The carver with the initials EV carved this wonderfully detailed piece. EN was a jadeite carver before moving on to other stones. He has been carving since 1998 and specializes in lizards, especially iguanas and chameleons. This carving is 28cm x 22.5cm with the base.

Purple Agate Allagator
The purple agate used for this allagator carving was found in Mexico. AP is the carver that skillfully crafted this piece. Purple Agate Birds
The purple agate used for this carving was found in Mexico. These two birds were carved by a carver with the initials DF. DF worked as a stone polisher before starting carving in 2000. He specializes in all kinds of birds. He is very good at incorporating the matrix of the agate into the carving as seen here with the eggs carved from the Skin of the agate. This is a two piece set. Bird one is 11.5cm x 10cm and bird two is 10cm x 9cm with their black onyx bases.

Quartz Sea Turtle
The rough quartz used to make this wonderful carving was found in Brazil. It was carved by a very talented stone carver with the initials EI. EI worked in the shoe industry before becoming an expert carver in 2003. EI specializes in turtles and sea turtles. His carvings have wonderful detail. This carving is 20.25cm x 14cm including the black onyx base.

Ruby and Zoisite Dolphins
The bright red ruby in zoisite rough used to carve these wonderful dolphins was found in Tanzania, Africa. The carving was done by a skilled stone carver with the initials AM. Am has been carving since 1991 when he left the construction industry to pursue a career in stone carving. AM specializes in plants and dolphins. This carving is 10cm x 9cm with the quartz and black onyx base.

White Agate Lady and Angel
This special carving was a joint effort between two very talented carvers. DS was the carver of the lady. He has a degree in fine art and started carving stone as soon as he left college in 2002. He specializes in female figures. DU carved the angel. He also has a degree in fine art and has been carving angels and cupids since starting stone carving in 2001. The white agate rough used for this carving was found in Brazil. The dimensions of this carving are 20.25cm x 15cm including the black onyx base.
