This Knightia eocaena was found in the Green River Formation near Kemmerer, Wyoming. It is Eocene in age (50 million years old). This specimen is from the split fish layers and is well preserved and prepared. All four sides of the matrix have been cut. As with most fish from this area there may be some “touchup” to the fossil. This is done to fill in small area that may have flaked off during either the digging or cleaning of the fossil. The matrix is 14.75cm x 15cm and the fish is 9cm long.

This is half of a concretion from the Mazon Creek Area in La Salle/Kankakee Counties. This Macroneuropteris is from the mid-Pennsylvanian age at 280 to 310 million years old. The entire nodule is 10.5cm x 6cm. The fossil is 9cm x 2.5cm. This is the positive side of this fossil.

This specimen is from the 18” layer and is well preserved and prepared. Two sides of the matrix are cut with two being in their naturally broken state.
