This slab of petrified conifer is from the Junggar Basin, Qitai County, Xinjiang Province, Northwest China. It is from the Triassic age. The specimen is 15cm x 13cm across the polished face and 1.5cm thick. The polish is good but there is a slight bevel to the edges. This specimen was originally cut and polished in China. The cutting and polishing was not up to our standard so it was repolished in the United States.
