Palm Slab from Louisiana

Palm from Wyoming
This piece of petrified palm is from the Eocene age Green River Formation in Sweetwater County, Wyoming. It is 8.5cm across the polished face and 14.5cm long. The exterior is weathered and beautiful. This specimen has areas that show good structure. This is a very nice example of petrified palm from Wyoming and is reminiscent of the material that was collected long ago.
